Betty Reed

BETTY JEAN REED, 76, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021, in Anson. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 24, 2021, at the Hawley Cemetery, directed by Adams-Graham Funeral Home.

Born March 21, 1945, in Winnsboro, Betty was the daughter of Fred Byrd and

Olla Mae (Wren) Byrd. She worked for Serenity House and as manager of several convenience stores. She attended school in Winnsboro. She married Paul Hill in 1963 and Tony Reed in 1986.

Betty was preceded in death by her mother, Olla Mae Davis, her father, Fred Byrd, husband Paul Hill, husband Tony Reed, brother (Billy Fred Byrd) and a sister, (Frances Darlene Davis).

Survivors include three sons, Paul Milton Hill, Jr. of Hamlin, Jason Lynn Hill of Rusk, and David Lee Hill of Palm Coast, Florida; one brother, Bobby Joe Byrd of Arkansas; two sisters, Hazel Ford of Winnsboro, and Connie Oliver of Pine Mills; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews.
