Chip Meroney

CHIP MERONEY, 66, died Saturday, January 8, 2022, at his home in Abilene. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Adams-Graham Funeral Home in Anson. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, directed by Adams-Graham Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from noon until service time on Saturday.

Born September 2, 1955, in Abilene, Chip was a son of Elizabeth (Bonds) Meroney and the late Howard Meroney. He graduated from Anson High School in 1974 and attended TSTC.

Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth Meroney of Anson; one sister, Becky Davidson (and husband, Paul) of Levelland; one brother, Jacob “Jake” Meroney (and wife, Debra) of Rockdale; two nephews, Steven Davidson (and wife, Cherakee) and Michael Davidson; and one great nephew, Jonah Davidson.
