Teresa Flores

TERESA FLORES, 87, crossed over Friday, January 14, 2022, at Anson General Hospital. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Saint Michael’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, directed by Adams-Graham Funeral Home of Anson. Rosary will be 6:00 p.m. Monday, January 16, 2022, at Adams-Graham Funeral Home.

Born October 31, 1934, in Anson, Teresa is the daughter of Pedro and Tanislada (Andrada) Galvan. Teresa was a homemaker and a member of Saint Michael’s Catholic Church. Teresa will be remembered for the great love she gave to her family, children, nieces and nephews. She loved to cook and work in her yard. Teresa always had a way of making all feel welcome and loved. She always had a wise word to share with everyone she encountered.

Teresa’s heavenly family include her parents, her husbands (Abel Flores and Daniel Ledesma), a daughter (Sonia Flores), and two brothers (El Pidio Galvan and Elias Galvan).

Teresa’s family includes her four sons, Abel Flores (and wife, Cheryl) of Anson, Rene Flores (and wife, Ruth Ann) of Anson, Noel Flores (and wife, Lucinda) of Anson and Isidro Flores (and wife, Amber) of Abilene; one daughter, Melissa Nevarez (and husband, Luis) of Lubbock; one brother, Joe Galvan (and wife, Stella) of Abilene; two sisters, Elida DeLeon (and husband, Brijido) of Fort Worth and Emma Ruiz (and husband, Alfredo) of Elsa; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
