DOROTHY WILSON, 87, died Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at a nursing home in Anson. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 24, 2022, at Adams-Graham Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, directed by Adams-Graham Funeral Home.

Born February 6, 1934 in Brownwood, Dorothy was a daughter of the late Zara Adron and Clara (Proffitt) Staley. She graduated from Anson High School and was the assistant manager at Lawrence Brothers Grocery store in Anson for many years.

Dorothy was preceded by a daughter (Virginia Wilson) and a sister.

Survivors include her two sons, Alan Hardy of Hawley and Richard Hardy of Graham; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
