Beth Elaine Kucera

May 22, 1945 - January 16, 2022

Elaine was born May, 22, 1945, to Charles and Dora Boyd in Borger, TX. She was the second of three daughters. Elaine graduated from Anson High School, Class of 1963. After graduation, she attended cosmetology school, but then found her true passion in medical records.

Elaine’s medical records career began at Anson General Hospital in 1975. In 1985, she took a position at Hendricks Hospital in Abilene, Tx, where she was later promoted to Director of Medical Records. She moved to Spring, TX, in 2004, to be closer to family. There she accepted a medical records position with MD Anderson in Houston, TX, from which she retired in 2009. A lifelong reader, Elaine also enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family.

Elaine was preceded in death by Charles Boyd (Father), Dora Boyd (Mother) and Donna Boyd Beauchamp (Sister).

She is survived by Karen Boyd Gann (Sister), Stephanie Murray Malone (Daughter), Sonja Murray White (Daughter) and husband Ty, Blake Malone (Grandson) and wife Madi, Rylee Malone (Granddaughter) and several nieces and nephews.

A “Celebration of Life” will be attended by her family.
