Raul Galvan

Raul S. Galvan of Anson passed away Monday, January 31, 2022 at 1:40 am at Hendrick South. A Memorial Services will be held Saturday February 5, 2022 at North's Funeral Home Chapel in Abilene at 12:00 pm. The burial to follow will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Anson, TX.

Raul was born January 3, 1962 in Anson to Tomasa Seballos Galvan and Audencio Galvan. Raul received his primary education in Anson. After High School he worked in the oil fields and as a framing contractor in California and Texas. Raul was also an 11 year liver transplant survivor. In his spare time he loved spending time with friends and family. He never met a stranger, and was known as the talker of the family.

Raul was preceded in death by his parents Audencio and Tommie Galvan; two sisters, Jessica Galvan and Lupe Ortega; and two brothers, Fred S. Galvan and David C. Galvan

Left to cherish his memories are: two sisters, Mary Soliz (husband Joe) of Abilene and Elisabeth Houghton (husband Pat) of Rowlett; three brothers, Benny S. Galvan of Abilene, Freddy Galvan of Abilene, Rocky Galvan of Dallas, and numerous nephews and nieces.
