Sally Nunez

SALLY NUNEZ, 89, died Sunday, February 6, 2022, at Anson General Hospital. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 11, 2022, at Saint Michael’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, directed by Adams-Graham Funeral Home.

Born May 20, 1932, in Anson, Sally was a daughter of the late Martin and Sarah (Alvarado) Pineda. She attended school in Jones County and was a member of Saint Michael’s Catholic Church.

Sally was preceded by her parents, one sister (Josie Pineda) and a brother (Jack Pineda).

Survivors include her son, Mark Nunez (and wife, Janice) of Anson; one granddaughter, Ashlynn Nunez; two step-grandchildren, Joseph Diaz and Mikayla Diaz; one brother, Martin Pineda, Jr. (and wife, Juanita) of Hale Center; and two sisters, Gracie Galvan and Delia Galvan, both of Anson.

Rosary will be 6:00 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Adams-Graham Funeral Home.
