Alisia Ramos
ALISIA RAMOS, 81, went to be with our Lord and Savior Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Hendrick Hospice Care. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Saint Michael’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, directed by Adams-Graham Funeral Home.
Born June 21, 1940 in Anson, Alisia was a daughter of the late Andrew and Carmen (Rodriguez) Garcia. She married Salvador Ramos, Sr. and shared a loving marriage of 64 years. Alisia worked for Anson General Hospital for 30 years and also at the nursing home. She was a member of Saint Michael’s Catholic Church. Alisia loved being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She loved playing cards, the Texas Rangers and traveling.
Alisha was preceded in death by her husband (Salvador Ramos, Sr.), her parents, two brothers (Alvino Garcia and Eligio Garcia), one sister (Demensia “Nancy” Salinas) and a great-granddaughter (Scarlett Sutton).
Survivors include two sons, Danny Ramos (and wife, Mary) and Sal Ramos, Jr. (and wife, Sherry Ann); two daughters, Mary Pekowski (and husband, Edward) and Ruth Ann Flores (and husband, Rene); three brothers, Raymond Garcia, Lupe Garcia and Andrew Garcia, Jr.; 13 grandchildren, Audrey Sutton, Stevie Pekowski, Ashley Baughman, Amber Gonzales, Joseph Pekowski, Joshua Pekowski, Sebastian Pekowski, Allison Pekowski, Johnathan Ramos, Aaron Ramos, Arianna Allison, Jaden Flores and Britney Ramos; and 17 great-grandchildren.
