Death at Jones County Jail

During the early morning hours of August 3, 2021, a Jones County inmate was transported to Anson General Hospital for a medical issue where he later died from complications. The name will be released after all family have been notified. At this time there is no further information available for release. The body was transported for autopsy. Texas Rangers are investigating the case.
