EVELYN RAYE LOLLAR, 92, died June 29, 2022, in Denver, Colorado. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Mount Hope Cemetery, directed by Adams-Graham Funeral Home. Born six miles south of Anson January 29, 1930, Evelyn was a daughter of the late R. L. “Bob” and Estie (Cox) Goza. She spent her entire life in the Anson area. Evelyn attended Anson schools and graduated from Anson High School in 1946. She married her high school sweetheart F. A. “Bogus” Lollar February 7, 1948. They continued to live in Anson area. After graduation she worked for the FHA office and for the Jones County Extension Service for a number of years. She also spent several years as an assistant teacher in the Anson Elementary School. They were parents to two sons, Hollis Earl Lollar and Larry Alan Lollar. She was actively engaged in the family farming operation and the Lollar Module trucking business until the tragic death of her husband, Bogus Lollar, October 8, 1994. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents Bob and Estie Goza, three sisters, Joyce Henning, Ruby Foy, and Betty Foust. Survivors include her sons, Hollis Lollar (and wife, Debbie) of Plains, MO and Larry Lollar (and wife, Lisa) of Denver, Colorado; two special grandchildren, Shane and Kendra Lollar; step grandchildren, Adam Pachiano, Jema Pachiano, Gia Pachiano, Kyle Pachiano, Theresa Pachiano, Aiden Pachiano and Shelly Pachiano. Family visitation will be 6:00 to 7:30 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2022, at Adams-Graham Funeral Home.
