George Fina

George Fina, 71, departed his earthly life on January 2, 2025, in Stamford, TX to go fishing in the lakes of heaven. In honoring his wishes, cremation services were selected.

George Edgar Fina was born on February 17, 1953, in Suffern, New York. He was one of three children born to the late Theordore and Dorothy (Moser) Fina. George received his formal education while living in New York.

In the 1970’s George relocated to Weatherford, TX where his parents lived. He became quite an accomplished brick layer along with working in the oil fields. George lived his life in appreciation of God’s earthly creation of nature. He enjoyed hunting but his passion in life revolved around fishing and camping out in the woods.

Memories of George’s life will be cherished by his sister, Mona Lee Kreutziger and brother, Ted Fina who both reside in White Lake, NY. He was preceded by his parents: Theordore and Dorothy Fina.
