Steve Moody

STEVE MOODY, 75, Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at his home in Anson. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 3, 2025. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 3, 2025.

Born February 18, 1949, in Haskell, Steve was the son of the late Ralph and Martha (Auten) Moody. He graduated from Anson High School in 1967. Steve was United States Marine Corp veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a train engineer and also worked for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Steve later owned and operated West Texas Sporting Goods. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Survivors include his cousins, Janice Mantooth, Judy Zuspann, Debbie Halsey, Ronald Moody and Jana Brittan; and many wonderful friends.
