Pablo Moreno

PABLO MORENO, SR., 80, died Tuesday, August 31, 2021, in Dallas. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Mount Hope Cemetery, directed by Adams-Graham Funeral Home.

Born July 5, 1941, in Beeville, Pablo was a son of the late Frederico and Lorenza (Martinez) Moreno, Sr. He married Juanita Garcia January 1, 1958, in Rochester. They moved to Anson 1978. Pablo was a farmer and a member of Saint Michael’s Catholic Church.

Pablo was preceded in death by his parents, his wife (Juanita Moreno), a son (Fernando Moreno), a brother (Frederico Moreno, Jr.), and two sisters (Flora Lopez and Josefa Moreno).

Survivors include two sons, Pablo Moreno, Jr. (and wife, Monica) of Anson and David Moreno of Snyder; five daughters, Josephine Lozano of Anson, Maria Palacio (and husband, Pete) of Abilene, Eva Acuna (and husband, Salvador) of Merkel, Alicia Moreno (and Peter Munoz) of Anson, and Christina Sanchez of Hawley; two sisters, Isabell Ibarra, and Manuela Jimenez; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
