Michael Myers Sr.

Michael Shawn Myers, Sr., 32, of Clyde died Thursday, September 2, 2021 at his home. A memorial service and celebration of Michael's life will be held at a later date.

Michael was born December 27, 1988 in Dallas to William Christopher Hargis and Karen Sue Myers. He graduated from Jacksonville High School and moved to the Abilene/Clyde areas in 2007. He worked for Bulldog Pump as a pumpjack builder. Michael was a welder at heart, doing many welding projects for himself and his friends and family.

He is survived by his father, Chris Hargis of Winnsboro; his mother, Karen Gonzales and husband Luis of Clyde; his son, Michael (Hot Rod) Shawn Myers, Jr. (8); daughter, Marrytt (Bug) Myers (5), both of Clyde; two brothers, Timothy DeWayne Myers of Abilene and Christian Bradlyn Thomas Sessions and wife Madilyn of Clyde; sister, Ashely Sizemore of Dallas; grandfather, William Hargis of Boerne; former step-father, Tommy Sessions of Abilene and special friends, Justin Brewster of Clyde and Sarah Baxter of Lawn.

Michael was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Ray Myers.
