Sylvia Martinez

Sylvia Martinez gained her wings Sunday, September 19, 2021 surrounded by her family. Sylvia was born on July 28, 1948 in Indiana, to Anselmo and Juanita Martinez. She was devoted to the Catholic Faith.

Her career in the food industry consisted of bakeries, school cafeterias and restaurants.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents Anselmo and Juanita Martinez, her sister Lyndia Garcia and her brother Joe Martinez of Jayton, Texas.

Sylvia shared her love of life with her family. Sisters Lupe Gomez, Concha (Chaparo) Sierra, Millie ( Carlos) Gonzales and her sister-in-law Connie Martinez. Brothers Elmo (Monica) Martinez, Robert (Mary Helen) Martinez, Ruben (Jackie) Martinez and Max ( Stephanie) Martinez

She was loved by all her family, friends, nieces, nephews, and friends near and far.
